George Mastoras
George leads the Foundation’s communication efforts and oversees branding, storytelling, social media, external communications, and media.
Previously, George was the Director of Communications at the National Center on Time & Learning and the Nellie Mae Education Foundation. George also served as National Political Coordinator at Progressive Majority. He has degrees from George Washington University and Stonehill College. George was honored to work in John Lewis’s office organizing a congressional delegation to Selma to remember Bloody Sunday.
